Weekly Somatic Experiencing Support Group

Somatic Experiencing Support Group Overview

This is an ongoing weekly confidential support group for professionals in the high-stress, high-burnout industries of healthcare and education. It focuses on increasing knowledge of our bodies and the use of group work to heal and support our parasympathetic nervous system (calming network) through co-regulation, inter-connectivity, and relational healing. These interventions are primarily based on the therapeutic framework of Somatic Experiencing.

What is Somatic Experiencing?

Somatic Experiencing (SE™) is a body-oriented therapeutic model developed by Dr. Peter Levine that draws from multidisciplinary areas of physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics.
